Music: any good jig

1–8 1st couple cross by the right hand, cast off one place (2nd couple stepping up), cross by the left hand, and cast to the left to finish with 1st lady between the 2nd couple and 1st man between the 3rd couple.

9-16 Reels of 3 across the dance. 1st couple finish in the middle of the dance (1st lady between the 2nd couple, 1st man between the 3rd couple) facing down.

17-24 1st man, followed by his partner, dance down for 4 bars (or anywhere he likes as long as they are in place for bar 25) On bar 5, 1st couple take nearer hands and dance up together to finish in the middle of the dance in 2nd place.

25-32 1st man dance left hands across with the 2nd and 3rd men, while 1st lady dances right hands across with the 2nd and 3rd ladies. 1st couple meet and take nearer hands to dance up between the 2nd couple and cast off to finish in second place own sides.
